Kerry has worked in extracting value from plant-based sources for over 20 years. After completing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Iowa State on the subject of hexane-free processing of soy, he has worked to create novel products and processes for protein from soy, pea, and other botanicals, first at DuPont/Solae and then at Roquette America, where he currently works leading a protein pilot plant. Kerry has extensive experience in scaling up processes from benchtop to pilot plant to commercial production.
