Jonathan Rodrigue is the co-founder and CEO of Still Good, a proudly carbon-negative circular economy company whose mission is to repurpose ingredients - primarily grains and cereals - to reduce food waste. Jonathan has an extensive background in implementing innovative sustainable food and responsible sourcing programs in partnership with large corporations, retailers, and social enterprises.
With over 15 years of experience in business development, combined with his knowledge of the impact of food waste on the environment, his expertise in the field has led him to envision a new model for the agri-food industry where the circular economy and responsible consumption are emphasized.
Besides being in charge of Still Good since 2017, his innovations in the circular economy have won multiple recognitions including 6 Dux Manger Mieux awards, the CTAQ Eco-responsible Innovation Award in 2022, and ESTim 2023’s award in the manufacturing category. Jonathan has been a guest speaker and panellist showcasing food waste reduction and sustainability initiatives on numerous occasions in addition to receiving PMI Montreal's Elixir award as the project manager of a national initiative to reduce food waste at retailers. He has also sat on numerous advisory committees discussing waste reduction solutions and served on the board of directors of non-profit and social enterprises.
Today, he aspires to integrate his new business models into the food industry so that circular economy and responsible and local consumption becomes standard practice worldwide.
