Novonesis

Mette Overgaard works as a Science Manager at Novonesis, one of largest biotech companies offering products and solutions for a healthy planet and healthy lives.
Mette holds a Master of Science and Engineering degree from Technical University of Denmark, with specialization in Engineering in Chemistry and Biotechnology.
For almost two decades she has worked at Novozymes, now Novonesis, with new enzymes development in Household Care division and in recent years she moved into area of Oils and Fats.
As Science Manager she works with Application Research focusing on development of new processes and enzymes for biodiesel production from vegetable oils.
