Zainab Husain is a first year M.Sc. student in Food Science at the University of Manitoba under the supervision of Dr. Nandika Bandara. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Food Science from the University of Manitoba in February 2024, where she also worked on an undergraduate research project with Dr. Nandika Bandara's group. Her work focuses on exploring novel and sustainable protein extraction technologies for functionally enhanced ingredients from alternate plant protein sources.
