Philippe Prochasson, having over two decades in biotechnology, most recently held the title of Vice President of Biosciences & Analytics and Head of Synthetic Biology at Motif FoodWorks in Boston, MA. A product of French academia, he earned his PhD in Cancer Biology from Université Paris-Saclay (Paris XI). His academic journey further continued at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As he transitioned to the biotech realm, Philippe's expertise in Precision Fermentation and Bioprocess became evident. With pivotal roles at Lifemine Therapeutics and Allylix, he showcased a deep understanding of synthetic biology and its practical applications. His tenure at Motif FoodWorks was marked by the co-launch of HEMAMI™, a groundbreaking plant-based ingredient. Philippe is currently providing consulting services through his NewLeaf BioConsulting LLC to help further grow the field of precision fermentation and biotechnology.
