This session will feature regulatory and policy experts on North American and Asian food and plant-based crop regulations. Perspectives on the most pressing regulatory challenges and opportunities from respective regions and industries will be discussed (regarding sustainable protein and edible and biofuel oil production) alongside data and gaps that need to be addressed for regulatory modernization efforts. In the context of respective regions or industries, insights on how governments and industry can work together to decrease regulatory burden and expedite sustainable protein innovation while ensuring food environments align with government mandates to provide consumers with safe and nutritious food products.
