Mariel Bonilla is a Master student in the department of Food Science at The University of Saskatchewan. She got her Major in Chemistry by the Central University in Ecuador. Her research thesis focuses on the formulation of bio-based materials using isolated canola proteins.
Mariel is also interested in teaching and she is part of the programs Kamskenow and Let´s talk Science to teach science to kids in elementary and high schools.
