Burcu Guldiken is a Lead Scientist in R&D department at Botaneco Inc in Calgary, Canada. She received her PhD in Food Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2017. She joined the protein quality and utilization lab in 2018 as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Nickerson at the University of Saskatchewan. Her current work focuses on the effects of processing on quality and functionality of oil bodies and proteins from oilseeds and their food applications.
