Zhongyang Wan is in his second year of M.Sc. program in Food and Human Nutritional Science Department of University of Manitoba. During the pursue of his bachelor’s degree, Zhongyang was awarded the Undergraduate Research Award (URA) and B.Sc. (Food Science) Golden Medal. His interest in food and nutrition leads him to research towards protein quality. Currently he is focusing on analyzing protein quality of field peas using near infrared radiation spectroscopy with the guidance from Dr. James House.
