Born and raised in India, my fascination with the intricacies of the natural world led me to pursue a career in microbiology. Over the years, I have distinguished myself as a gold medalist in microbiology, showcasing my dedication and intellect in the field.
Fuelled by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, I embarked on my academic journey, earning a bachelor's and master’s degree in microbiology with flying colors.
Desire to delve deeper into the realm of scientific inquiry led me to explore the interdisciplinary field of food science. Recognizing the importance of this field in addressing global challenges such as food security and nutrition, I enrolled in the Food Science Diploma program at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. I completed my diploma and graduated in year 2023. Eager to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in my chosen field, I embarked on research endeavors at the University of Saskatchewan, focusing on various aspects of food science. I started my research journey as graduate student right after graduation. As I continue my research, I remain dedicated to pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge and addressing pressing challenges in the field of food science. My journey from being a gold medalist in microbiology to a budding researcher in food science is a testament to my intellect, curiosity, and passion for scientific inquiry.
