James Kim is a Senior Vice President, Science & Regulatory Affairs, at the American Cleaning Institute (ACI), the trade association for the cleaning products industry and topical antiseptics. In this role, Jim leads the technical/science team on a wide range of regulatory issues on cleaning products and their ingredients. Prior to joining ACI in 2018, Jim worked at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) within the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) where he provided toxicology and risk assessment expertise to the regulatory review process of rulemaking. Jim earned a BA from the Johns Hopkins University, and MHS and PhD degrees in Immunology and Toxicology, respectively, from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology in 2007.
