David Pink is a theoretical physicist who taught almost all physics courses during his teaching career at a small liberal-arts university. He initially carried out research in magnetically-ordered solids, then, after 20 years, switched to model and biological membranes. After another 20 years he switched to food science, a field in which he has been for 20 years. he has been on the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and o the Board of Directors of the Canada Council for Innovation.
