Tom Brenna is professor of Pediatrics, of Chemistry, and of Nutrition, at the University of Texas at Austin, and Professor Emeritus at Cornell University. He holds degrees in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Connecticut (1980) and Analytical Chemistry from Cornell University (1985). His research group has contributed to many aspects of the science of fatty acids, including chemical analysis, nutrition, biochemistry, genetics, and ecology.
