A dynamic and entrepreneurial manager with 20+ years in innovation management, business development and creation of innovative start-ups. In the last years the main industry focus was on renewable energy, small-scale decentralized heat & power generation, energy efficiency and steam-based power generation systems. Marco is employed at Heliex Power Ltd since the very start of the business when he was working in the technology transfer department at City, University of London, in close collaboration with the research team that developed the thermodynamics and IP behind the Heliex twin screw turbine technology. Marco became part of the Heliex team initially as technical director and was responsible for the design, manufacture, test and development of the first Heliex TST prototype. He then moved to more strategic role as product and business development manager. His background is in mechanical engineering, with a Bachelor degree and a PhD in Innovation Management.
