Victor M. Arredondo, Ph.D., is a Group Scientist at Procter & Gamble. He works at P&G Chemicals R&D Innovation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he works on the exploration and development of known or novel materials with potential application in one or more P&G consumer product categories. His areas of interest and focus are on oleochemicals, surfactants, green chemistry, sustainability, and catalysis. Dr. Arredondo joined P&G in 1999 after receiving his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Northwestern University, where he developed a new catalytic allene-based transformation with organolanthanide catalysts and its application to naturally occurring alkaloids. He obtained his BS in Chemistry from the Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico. Victor has published a number of technical publications and he is a named inventor on 13 granted US Patents.
