Felix Aladedunye is a Fats/Oils Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a Senior R&D Scientist with PepsiCo Foods. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Biomolecular Food Chemistry, specifically on the application of fundamental chemistry and analytical instruments in understanding and improving vegetable oils thermo-oxidative stability during processing and storage. He holds a second Ph.D. degree in Organic (Natural Products) Chemistry, specializing in the isolation, characterization, and identification of natural compounds with antioxidative and medicinal properties. Additionally, Felix was an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow with a 14-month residence at Max Rubner-Institut, Germany. He has published extensively in the areas of lipid oxidation and antioxidants.
