David Bolliet holds the position of Senior R&D Manager & Analytical Platform Lead with Kalsec, the leading global producer of natural spice and herb flavor extracts, colors, food protection, and advanced hop products for the food and beverage industry.

With nearly 25 years of industry experience in the field of analytical chemistry, David has presented his research in peer-reviewed journals, trade magazines, and at conferences. He has also authored a book chapter and is one of the editors of the book "Chemesthesis: Chemical Touch in Food and Eating" (2016, published by John Wiley & Sons).

David holds a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Wayne State University, Detroit, and a postgraduate diplôme d'Ingénieur in chemistry from Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Industrielle de Lyon, France. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and kayaking in the Great Lakes area.
