Fang Wei, Professor, doctoral supervisor, chief executive of oil quality chemistry and processing and utilization team. Focus on developing efficient, high-throughput, and high-precision analysis technologies and characterization methods for lipids/metabolites based on chromatography-mass spectrometry platforms, including rapid, high-throughput, and high-precision identification of lipid molecular structures, quantitative methodology platforms, and data mining technologies. And through lipidomics research on plants/animals/microorganisms, to explore and utilize functional lipids/biomarkers, analyze lipid biosynthesis metabolic pathways, elucidate the biological and nutritional functions of lipids, metabolic regulation mechanisms, and transformation mechanisms in the formation of processing quality. She has published 100 peer-reviewed papers on the prestigious journals and has gotten 12 authorized national invention patents. Serve as the deputy editor of Human Nutrition & Metabolism and Oil Crop Science. She has won the Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the First Prize of Hubei Technical Innovation Award in 2018. She has won 100 outstanding female scientific and technological innovation talents in Hubei Province in 2020.
