Jonas Blockx finished his masters in chemistry at KU Leuven in 2015. His PhD (2020) in chemical engineering related to the modification of cellulose nanocrystals for the flocculation of fresh and marine microalgae, focussing on the investigation of the different involved flocculation mechanisms. For his postdoc, he is focussing on the investigation of lipases on wheat lipids during bread making, using LC-MS.
