- PhD studying lipids in feeds and their effects on monogastric meat composition and oxidation (Univeristy of Barcelona, Spain, 2009)
- Junior post-doc researcher at RIKILT - Institute of Food Safety at Wageningen University and Reseearch (the Netherlands) (2010-2012). Post-doc topic: development of authentication models to verify organic feed and the geographical origin of palm oils.
- Senior post-doc researcher at University of Barcelona (2012-2023): Both research lines:
In lipids in animal science, the research is focused on the characterization and use of by-products of the refining industry, and their effects on meat, fish and egg composition and stablity
In food authenticity, the research is focused on the use of chromatographic fingeprints combined with chemometics /omics to develop authentication models to verify the identity of valuable products. We have been studying ham, olive oil & nuts.
