Milena Corredig completed her PhD degree at the University of Guelph, Canada, where she was also professor and Canada research chair from 2004-2014. After 4 years as VP of R&D for Gay Lea Foods, Ontario, she moved to Aarhus University, Denmark, where she is now professor and Villum investigator, and she heads a research team which focuses on food soft materials. Her research priorities are food design and processing, connecting the domains of food biochemistry, food processing, and material science. She is a senior editor of sustainable food proteins.
