Relentless pursuit for edible oil quality, purity and safety

It is a great honor to receive the 2024 Timothy L. Mounts Award. Dr. Mounts paved the way for many oil chemists, like myself, to advance the quality and processing technologies of edible oil. In this presentation, I will highlight the work my research group has done on olive oil and avocado oil, our efforts to improve quality and authenticity as well as other related areas to increase the overall sustainability of edible oil industry.
